Tengo un extracto del libro "Tesoros de Egipto. El Museo Egipcio de El Cairo.", Tiradritti y De Luca.

Me vendría muy bien leer tu texto sobre los shabtis. Gracias.

Tengo algunas dudas sobre las que tal vez puedas aconsejarme

-A que se debe la anomalía del tamaño? El shabti del que hablo es inusualmente grande

-Porque, si va a ser un siervo, es un retrato de Tutankamon, que no dio un palo al agua en su vida, y dudo mucho que tuviese intención de hacerlo a su muerte?

-Cuando un shabti lleva el nombre inscrito de un funcionario de la corte, significa eso un voto de servicio después de la muerte? Voy a hablar especialmente del shabti como termómetro social, y sobre la contradicción entre el mundo idílico después de la muerte que promete la religión egipcia y la diferencia de clase que se mantiene: el faraón tiene shabtis y no trabajará. quien no tiene shabtis trabajará

aparte de esas tres cuestiones, me ayudaría una opinión artística, teóricamente la figura debería unir aspectos del arte amariense con el arte tradicional, pero yo no encuentro las características amarienses

También encontrarás información interesante sobre estas figurillas y su relación con la religión egipcia en:

Con respecto al ushebti del Museo de El Cairo que nos muestras, te recomiendo que consultes el catálogo del museo. Si no dispones de él, te puedo hacer un resumen de lo que dice sobre el mismo.

P.S.: Hace poco he escrito un artículo sobre la evolución de los ushebtis en relación a la evolución de la religión egipcia para una revista. Quién es Félix Alonso y Royano? Es profesor de alguna universidad o algún puesto similar? Me haría falta si lo incluyo como bibliografía.

Respecto a la bibliografíaque usa él, mi problema es que ni hablo francés ni las bibliotecas de mi ciudad (valladolid) tienen esos libros, por eso tengo un pequeño problema. gracias
