Existía el teatro en el Antiguo Egipto?

En el arte egipcio confluyen el poder del faraón, la religión, las costumbres y el amor por la naturaleza. De estos distintos elementos resulta la seductora singularidad de su mundo poético y de sus creaciones artísticas, que nos imponen complicados símbolos relacionados con lo religioso.

Hola amigos! :)

Estoy interesada en saber si en el Antiguo Egipto hay alguna referencia respecto a representaciones teatrales. Yo creo que si hubiese alguna manifestación tipo teatral tal vez hubiese sido en el período Ptolemaico.

Es posible? Hay algun tipo de resto arqueológico que lo demuestre?

Probablemente existieran algunas representaciones con disfraces o mascaras ligadas a los misterios.Quiza muy de lejos pudieramos hablar de precursores del teatro.Es solo una hipotesis.
